Notes to editors
- Ahead of the publication of a new Rail Partners freight report on Monday 4 March, the Freight Parliamentary Reception is an opportunity to hear from representatives of all three major parties about their plans for the rail freight sector ahead of a general election.
- Alongside hearing from high-profile political speakers, Rail Partners, and Andrea Rossi, the CEO of DB Cargo UK, will set out the economic and environmental benefits of rail freight, and the need to create a supportive policy framework to stimulate further growth.
- Rail Partners will be posting about the event on LinkedIn and Twitter/X with #RPFreightReception24
- Information about the Freight Reception that took place in 2023 can be found here.
